Crash in Livingston County leaves body “burned beyond recognition”

Officials in Livingston County are trying to figure out what caused a deadly car crash and fire that happened Monday. 

According to our news partner, WJBC, a passerby noticed burnt car remains around 10 a.m. Monday morning. The 2003 Buick hit a guard rail and burned at the intersection of 3225 East and 1000 North Road in Charlotte Township, just north of Chatsworth. The Livingston County Coroner says the driver of the car was “burned beyond recognition.” Investigators will have to use dental records or DNA to identify the body.
