Members of the Creve Coeur Police Department are paying tribute to their former police chief.
Jerry Daughters was an Army veteran and played many roles in the community.
He served as Creve Coeur’s police chief for 23 years and later as a village trustee.
He died earlier this month at the age of 85.
At Wednesday night’s board of trustees meeting, members of the community paid respects to Daughters’ service by creating a memorial in his seat.
