Democrat incumbents will have another term in their respected offices, with the Associated Press projecting the winners of the races for Attorney General, Secretary of State, Comptroller and Treasurer.
Secretary of State Jesse White won the race with 77 percent, with Republican Jason Helland trailing behind with 21 percent and Libertarian Steve Dutner with 2 percent.
Democrat Michael Frerichs made his acceptance speech early Tuesday night, beating Republican Jim Dodge and Libertarian Michael Leheney for Illinois Treasurer.
Democrat Susana Mendoza also won the race for Comptroller. Republican Darlene Senger and Libertarian Claire Ball ran against her.
Democrat Kwame Raoul is also in the lead for the closely-followed Attorney General race. He won roughly 61 percent of the votes, with Republican Erika Harold following behind with 37 percent and Libertarian Bubba Harsy with 2 percent.
