‘Detroit’s Most Wanted’ arrested in Peoria

“Detroit’s Most Wanted” was found by the Peoria Police Department on Thursday.

Peoria officers, alongside the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force discovered the whereabouts of 26-year-old Dominique A. Amos.

Amos was wanted in connection with a hit and run of a 12-year-old boy on his bicycle in January in Pontiac. 

At approximately 2:45 p.m., Amos was located and taken into custody without incident in the 3700 block of West Hedgehill Lane for an outstanding warrant out of Oakland County, Michigan for hit and run – serious injury/death.  

Amos was transported to the Peoria County Jail and will await extradition back to Detroit, Michigan.
