FBI looks for two suspects in Ottawa bank robbery

OTTAWA, Ill. – (WMBD) A bank robbery Friday morning in Ottawa has federal investigators looking for two suspects.

The FBI and Ottawa Police say three people armed with an AK-47 rifle walked into the Old Second Bank at 323 E. Norris Drive in Ottawa about 10:15am. The man and woman reportedly made off with an unknown amount of money. No injuries were reported.

The first suspect is described as a black male, standing 6’0” tall and weighing about 185 pounds. He had on a red hat and red shoes.  The second suspect is a white female with blonde hair and a medium to heavy build. She was wearing dark clothes and a gray beanie.

FBI agents say the pair should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about the robbery or their whereabouts is urged to call the FBI Chicago Field Office at (312) 421-6700.
