GALESBURG, Ill - Galesburg police are investigating a shooting that sent one 20 year-old to the hospital.
It happened Sunday before 1:15 a.m. in the 600 block of West Tompkins Street.
Police say Autumn Ponder was the victim of a single gunshot wound. She was taken to a local hospital and later transferred to OSF Saint Francis Medical Center. At last check she was in stable condition.
Investigators do not believe the shooting was random.
