PEORIA, Ill. — Gas prices in Peoria have risen 11.5 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.99 a gallon Monday, according to GasBuddy’s daily survey.
Gas prices in Peoria are 29.0 cents per gallon higher than a month ago, and stand 17.5 cents per gallon higher than a year ago.
The cheapest station in Peoria is priced at $2.87/g, while the most expensive is $3.09/g. This is a difference of 22.0 cents per gallon, GasBuddy reports. The lowest price in Illinois is $2.59/g while the highest is $3.89/g, a difference of $1.30/g.
The most expensive July in Peoria over the last decade was in 2011, when gas was up to $3.70 a gallon.
