A group of students from Germany got the opportunity to view Peoria from a plane this morning.
The Friends of Friedrichshafen Youth Exchange got the bird’s eye view of the city thanks to the Bradley Flying Association.
The flight took off from Peoria International Airport and lasted about 2 hours.
“I would say it was really exciting,” says Friedrichshafen student Hanna Sictel, “I really enjoyed seeing Peoria from a different view than just the ground.”
Dean Lake of the Bradley Flying Association says every year they receive positive feedback from all the kids.
“They enjoy it,” says Dean, “No matter what country you’re from or what language you speak, it’s all enjoyable.”
The group will be taking students from Peoria to Germany next summer.
