Governor Rauner Celebrates Small Business Week in Eureka

Governor Rauner visits a local manufacturing company to kick off small business week.

The state’s chief executive visited Do-Mor Equipment in Eureka, which makes spreaders and graders for road construction.

The governor says 2 out of every 3 new jobs in Illinois is created by small business, calling it the key to our state’s economic prosperity.

“We need economic growth, that’s the key, so we’re here visiting with small business owners we’re tying to help them by cutting the red tape the restrictions the regulations the filings the fees trying to keep their tax burden as low as possible so that they can grow and compete.” Governor Rauner said.

Governor Rauner’s tour of small businesses continues throughout the week.
