PEORIA, Ill. – A Grammy award-winning group and Country Music Hall of Fame members The Oak Ridge Boys are bringing holiday cheer to the River City this winter.
The country group will play the Peoria Civic Center on Nov. 22, as part of their Downhome Christmas show.
A mixture of traditional and contemporary songs make up the set list, which includes songs from the Oaks’ seven bestselling Christmas CDs.
Oaks’ lead singer, Duane Allen, says,
“Christmas is my favorite time of year,” lead singer Duane Allen said. “Every year I look forward to taking our Christmas tour all over the USA. I hope everyone will come out this year and celebrate Christmas with The Oak Ridge Boys.”
