Hundreds rock the farm for Easterseals

MACKINAW, Ill. — Hundreds came out to support Easterseals at an event on Friday at the Mackinaw Valley Vineyard.

The event, Rock the Farm, is hosted by Team Alex, which was started in honor of Alex Camacho.

Easterseals has been a part of now 11-year-old Camacho’s life since he was a baby.

“Ever since, he has benefitted from services at Easterseals starting at nine months old. So, they’ve been a big part of our family, the community has been a big part of our family,” said Angie Camacho, Alex’s mom.

This year was the sixth year organizers have held the event.

Money will go to Easterseals, and programs for cortical visual impairment, to help people like Alex.
