ISU announces traffic changes in Normal for the rest of the week

Local News

NORMAL, Ill. — All this week Illinois State Universities students will be moving back in to begin their 2019 -2020 school year.

While some have already found and moved into their dorms, the bulk of the more than 6,000 students that live on campus, will be moving in starting Wednesday.

To aid them throughout the process will be more than 300 volunteers, so as you can expect the roads will be pretty crowded.

To keep you ahead of the curve, school leaders want you to know the change in traffic patterns. Some streets will become one-way, and others will only be used for students.

Leaders are also urging parents not to bring trailers as they could lead to more traffic.
