PEORIA, Ill. — The Jurassic Quest event is taking place all weekend at the Peoria Civic Center.

Those who go will have the chance to experience what life might have been during the dinosaur period.

This event has over 80 life-sized dinosaur replicas where people will be able to see them move and roar. There will also be a museum where people can see real dinosaur fossils from 60 million years ago. For those more on the adventurous side, dinosaur-themed rides will also be available.

“This is not just a fun thing to do for the family, this is also an educational thing to do with the family. Kids are getting back into school, get them used to learning some things and I will teach them all about dinosaurs. But it’s also just so much fun. There’s no reason not to come,” said Park Ranger Marty.

The event takes place Friday 3 p.m-8 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m.-8 p.m. For more information, visit https://www.jurassicquest.com/events/peoria-il.
