The jury in the case against Kirk Zimmerman saw more than 100 crime scene photos Thursday.
About 20 of those photos included the body of his ex-wife, Pamela, whom he’s accused of shooting and killing in her Bloomington office in 2014.
The defense and prosecution questioned Scott Mathewson Thursday morning. He was a crime scene detective tasked with taking the photos of the scene. Mathewson said, while investigating Pamela’s office, he didn’t see any signs of forced entry. He found three shell casings: one next to Pamela’s body, one in a chair (which also had two bullet holes in it), and one in the windowsill.
There will be more witnesses Thursday afternoon.
