A Peoria non-profit organization invited local students to create Valentine’s Day boxes on Monday evening. The anti-bullying campaign, Keegan’s Krew held the pop up event at Jukebox Comedy Club in remembrance of Keegan Beal.
Keegan’s mother, Kelly Beal oversees the campaign and said every year Keegan would write valentine cards for his classmates.
“Some of my favorite memories with him are from when he would ask me to help him make some special little gifts for his love interests at school,” said Kelly Beal. “He’d do it just for his class, he loved having me help with class parties.”
