PEORIA, Ill. - Investigators have ruled the fire at King Food and Tobacco Mart on Western Avenue as an arson.
Firefighters responded to a report of smoke coming out of the area around 11:35 p.m. Monday night.
Investigators say the fire likely started with gasoline.
The report also said that the building was locked up and secured while the camera and DVR were missing. The report also said that wires had also been cut as well. The owner says between $100 to $200 in the drawer was done.
The entire business suffered smoke and water damage.
No injuries were reported.
