If you’re sending Christmas presents out of town, you better hurry up.
Today is the final day to ship — first class and globally — for delivery before Christmas. Priority mail shippers have until Wednesday to send their packages off.
Destination delivery units have received more than 100 million packages since late last month. Nearly all of them have been delivered on time.
“You’re still good for Christmas as far as getting it there priority mail,” says Rebecca Brummitt, Customer Relations Coordinator for USPS. “Now, as we get closer, you’re going to want to send it express because that’s guaranteed service and you can do that the day before Christmas.”
Tomorrow will be the busiest day for deliveries.
