An early Sunday morning shooting leaves a young man hospitalized, not even a full 24-hours after a “Stop the Violence” rally was held at Martin Luther King Park.

Peoria Police responded to the 2200 block of North Ellis Street.

A male was found with two gunshot wounds, neither proving to be life threatening.

A female was also transported to the hospital.

Details still few at this time.
