WASHINGTON, Ill. — The city of Washington finished off a week of festivities with its 11th annual art festival.
There were 64 art booths to choose from where they could buy from local and regional artists.
Things like acrylic paintings, pottery and caricature drawings were just a few of the many selections to choose from.
There was food available provided by the Lions Club if anyone was looking for a quick bite.
“I think this is a great opportunity for those local artists that are coming up to get their name out, in the community as well as we get a lot of regional artists that just like our show with the small town feel,” said Washington Parks District recreation manager Matt Suellentrop.
This was also a great event for the family, offering live music and plenty of activities for the kids.
