A business in the Twin Cities is doing all it can to help those in need.
Owners of Retrofit Culture started a “Giving Fence” outside their business last January. They decided to hang their used cold weather apparel on a fence, so people who may need it can stay warm in the winter. The couple collects donated items to continue their mission. Everything hung on the fence is free to whoever needs it.
“You know, we weren’t sure how it was going to go or how far into the season we’d continue to get donations, but we get several coats everyday, said Tahnee Lathrop, Co-owner of Retrofit Culture. “A lady just dropped off 3 bags of stuff.”
The Lathrop’s will continue the “Giving Fence” through February, as long as donations keep coming.
