Attorney General Lisa Madigan joins 15 other state Attorneys General in filing a lawsuit to block President Trump's decision to end Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, also known as DACA.
Madigan and the other Attorneys General argue ending DACA violates Due Process rights and violates the Equal Protection clause of the Constitution.
The lawsuit is also filed against the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, and Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
