BLOOMINGTON, Ill. — A man involved in the former U.S. Cellular Coliseum scandal was found guilty of theft Friday morning.

A McLean County jury found former arena manager and executive director Curtis Webb guilty of stealing money from the former venue, The Pantagraph reports.

The jury began deliberating on Thursday morning and resumed Friday. The trial lasted three days, and Webb is set to be sentenced on Oct. 28.

VenuWorks, the company Webb was employed with, reimbursed the city for $41,000, which included charges on the debit card during Webb’s time in Bloomington. Webb joined the facility from another VenuWorks property in May 2016.

U.S. Cellular Coliseum was renamed to Grossinger Motors Arena in 2017.
