PEORIA, Ill. - With the platform pictured here now rubble, leaders in Peoria want your input on what comes next for the space it once occupied.
Tuesday, May 15, city staff and partners are hosting a meeting to discuss the next steps for the Riverfront. They will be taking comments and suggestions, as well as asking for involvement with the study's Community Advisory Group.
The meeting will take place at the Gateway Building. The discussion will go from 5:00-7:00 in an open house format, but there will be a formal presentation starting at 5:30.
The area in question goes from the Bob Michel Bridge to the Riverplex, and from the River to Water Street. The planning will include looking at factors like land use, access, transportation,and parking.
