PEORIA, Ill. – Methodist College is helping former Midstate College students continue their education.

An open house for interested students was held Wednesday with hopes to help guide them in the right direction.

Methodist College has provided education for healthcare professionals for more than 100 years, leaders hope to offer education to any student affected by Midstate’s closure.

“We don’t want these students to feel that they’re out there on their own, we want to be able to help them if they choose to come here. We will help them if they choose to come here, and again I think the community of Central Illinois, Peoria and the higher education community is coming around these students to be sure they can be successful,”

Anna Buehrer Vice Chancellor for Strategic Marketing and External Affairs.

ICC will also host an Open House for former Midstate College students from 4-8 p.m. Aug. 5 on the Peoria Campus at Arbor Hall.
