PEORIA - A verdict is delivered in the case of a South Peoria mother and the death of her young child.
Misty Kocar was indicted in October last year. Kocar was accused of smothering her 4-month-old daughter to death while the two were sleeping.
Jurors acquitted her Wednesday on the involuntary manslaughter charge. She was found guilty of the 2 counts of endangering the life and health of a child.
Kocar could face jail time. Sentencing is scheduled for January 5th at 10 a-m.
