Neighbors shocked to hear the news about accused shooter Travis Reinking

Morton residents who knew 29-year-old Travis Reinking say they’re shocked to hear that he’s accused of killing 4 people and injuring others.Reinking is accused of opening fire at a Waffle House near Nashville, Tennessee early Sunday morning. 

Neighbor Roland McDuff is well acquainted with Reinking and his family, “He sure had the upbringing and I feel sorry for them more than anything,they’re such good people,” said McDuff.

Reinking’s family owns a local crane company. McDuff says he has used the company’s services in previous years and Reinking worked with them.  He says he go to know Reinking well during that time. 

Still those who knew him and his family are left with several unanswered questions.

“I wouldn’t believe its true,” said McDuff “I wouldn’t believe he’d do something like that.”
