BLOOMINGTON, Ill. — A new Bloomington business had its ribbon cutting today with the McLean County chamber of commerce.
The Smash Club is a new local business that has two smash rooms, where guests can put on some protective gear, grab a bat and get some much needed stress relief.
“I bought this building and couldn’t rent the space, so I just decided to put one in myself,” co-owner David Kagel said.
The smash club accepts parties up to four people for 15 minute sessions. Co-owner Sandy Kagel says she knows many people are excited for the new business.
“People are excited for divorce parties,” she said. “Breakups, you can bring pictures or things your ex has left behind and just smash it.”
The Smash club is located at 1102 S Main St, and its official grand opening will be Saturday.
