New Chairman & Vice-Chairman named for MEG Policy Board

CENTRAL ILLINOIS - A new chairman and vice-chairman has been named by the Multi-County Narcotics Enforcement Group (MEG).

Washington Police Chief Mike McCoy will become Chairman while Woodford County Sheriff Matt Smith will be Vice-Chairman. Each elected officer will serve two year terms.

The group, which focuses on undercover drug operations, serves as a four county area, including Peoria, Tazewell, Knox, and Woodford Counties and includes several municipalities.
