New Republican Bill Would Protect Patients with Pre-existing Conditions

Local News

BLOOMINGTON – A local legislator is taking the first step in repealing Obamacare.

Congressman Rodney Davis told us, “To ensure that pre-existing conditions are covered and to make sure that no one is suddenly without coverage and have to raise that same fight that I watched my wife wage 17 years ago.”

Congressman Davis announced his bill this morning at Central Illinois Regional Airport.

H.R. 6-28 is designed to make sure pre-existing conditions are covered in an Obamacare replacement.

The 3-term republican is pushing for the bill to be part of the larger legislation to replace Obamacare.

Congressional republicans are working on draft legislation and hope to unveil it to the public soon.
