New superintendent chosen for Morton School District

Morton District 709 Schools has a new superintendent.

The district announced Monday that Dr. Jeff Hill will serve as the school system’s leader. Hill is currently the superintendent of the Illinois State University Lab Schools.

He will replace former superintendent Dr. Lindsey Hall, who took the same position at the Mahomet-Seymour School District.

A special meeting will take place Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 7:15 a.m. to hire Dr. Hill.
