TAZEWELL COUNTY, Ill. (WMBD)– The Tazewell County Board rejected a zoning change Wednesday that could have brought a new solar farm to the county.

The board voted against the zone change unanimously.

The Minnesota-based company called SolarStone Partners was looking to establish its third solar farm in Illinois.

The board also voted against a zoning change that could have brought a wind farm to Tazewell County.
