One dead, two injured after shooting, crash in Bloomington

One man is dead and two other men are injured after a shooting in Bloomington Tuesday night.

Officers responded to reports of shots being fired in the 1200 block of Orchard Road just before 10 p.m. At the scene, police located 26-year-old Nathaniel Caldwell with gun shot wounds.

Caldwell was transported to the hospital and is in critical condition, but stable. 

A short distance from the scene, officers also located a vehicle that hit a parked car and a residence near the intersection of Wildwood and Orchard.

Police found 25-year-old Juan Nash inside the vehicle with gunshot wounds and was unresponsive. Life saving efforts were performed by officers and Rescue, but Nash died from his injuries.

Shortly after these incidents, Bloomington police were notified about a third subject, 18-year-old Scotty Allen that arrived at a local hospital with gunshot wounds. Allen is in critical condition, but stable.

No arrests have been made at the time and the investigation is still active.
