The Peoria Fire Department and paramedics responded to a house fire that sent one to the hospital Thursday.
Upon arrival, just after 2 p.m., the first company reported light smoke coming from the front of the house. Crews report fire and smoke coming from the back of the house. They put out the fire roughly 20 minutes later.
All occupants were out of the house prior to our arrival, but one was transported to OSF Saint Francis Medical Center for burns to the hands and feet.
There were no firefighter injuries and there was an estimated $75,000 worth of damage.
