Overnight fire destroys mobile home in Creve Coeur

CREVE COEUR, Ill. — A mobile home at Cedar Ridge Village in Creve Coeur is destroyed after a fire this morning. It happened around 1:45 A.M. Monday.

Creve Coeur Fire Chief Brad Gill says firefighters found the home fully engulfed in flames. It took about 15 minutes to put out the fire.

Crews from East Peoria, and North Pekin assisted Creve Coeur at the scene.

No one was home at the time. Fire investigators from East Peoria are expected to arrive later this morning to figure out what may have caused the fire.
