PEORIA, Ill.– The Peoria Area Lindy Swing held its last scheduled lesson Tuesday at the Peoria Riverfront.
PALS has been hosting free swing lessons every Tuesday throughout the summer. The lessons are open to beginners and experienced dancers alike.
“It’s for the whole family. All these dances are family friendly events. We are kind of pushing that because we want everybody to get involved,” PALS Outreach Coordinator Ronald Pruse said.
Pruse said he thinks there will be more warm weather ahead. He said he hopes he can convivence other PALS leaders to host two more dances on the riverfront before the summer is officially over.
With cooler weather approaching, PALS leader said dances may not be held on the riverfront anymore. Pruse said they are looking for indoor locations during the colder weather.
