WASHINGTON, Ill. — Part of East Cruger Road in Washington is expected to be closed Tuesday and Wednesday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

According to a post on the city’s Facebook page, the road will be closed “from Dee-Mac Road east to the railroad tracks, where Cruger does that little dipsy-do south.”

The closure is so crews can add new blacktop to the road. Construction is dependent upon weather. You can follow updates from the city here.
