A Peoria bookstore owner is looking for participants in their bedtime story project.

Five days a week, Book Rack Used Books will post bedtime stories on its Facebook page. Those who choose to participate will be recorded reading a children’s book of their choice.

Parents can then play the videos at night for their children instead of reading a book.

“I was doing it myself and then I thought it would be fun to have firemen and police officers come,” said bookstore owner Stacy Hardin. “Then I decided everybody should come and it just sparked a movement everybody reads Peoria, so we want everybody all walks of life to read to the kids.”
