Peoria Cares app lets citizens address concerns about potholes and other issues

Local News

Peoria city officials want to give a friendly reminder to everyone, that they care about your concerns.

The Peoria Cares app lets citizens have a voice when it comes to dealing with problems. About 1,200 calls came in during the month of January for weather related concerns such as potholes. The app allows the person making a complaint to interact with the city. You can also attach a picture of the concerns to go along with the complaints.

“This is the direct way for people to get their complaints heard, so we definitely encourage people to use the app if they can for peoria cares. If they don’t have access to using a smartphone then please give us a call,” said Shamra Robinson, Management Analyst of The City of Peoria.

You can also submit your concerns about tall grass, street lights and crime.
