Peoria man disobeys train signals, gets hit, walks away

A Peoria man sustains no injuries after going through a train crossing cross bar and being hit.

The Streator Police Department and multiple other agencies responded to the 800 block of East Main Street Streator. 

That’s where they found 50-year-old James Murphy of Peoria. 

Murphy disobeyed the warning lights and bells.

He’s been cited for disobeying signal indicating the approaching of a train. 

He’ll be in court on May 25th
