PEORIA, Ill. — The Peoria Players Theatre is opening its doors to the community.
The theatre hosted their “Get Acquainted” event on Sunday to introduce its shows and directors, and invite volunteers.
This is the theatre’s 101st season and they’re hosting six shows and a summer production this year.
“We are very excited about what’s coming up. We have seven great shows, along with special events, backstage work, we have so many opportunities for people to get involved,” said business administrator Nicki Haschke.
The summer production, Back to the 80s, opens in a few weeks on August 7.
The theatre is asking anyone to volunteer for on stage and back stage positions for their shows.
