PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) -- A Peoria Police Lieutenant was arrested early Wednesday for DUI.
Lt. Michael Boland was pulled over by Illinois State Police on West Main Street and booked into the Peoria County Jail at 4:45am. He was arrested for DUI, improper lane usage and speeding.
Peoria Police say Boland is now on paid administrative leave pending a review of the incident. Boland is the head of he department's criminal investigation division.
