Peoria Public Schools wants feedback on its performance.
The school district released an annual survey for parents, teachers and students. The 5Essential survey solicits insight on the following factors: effective leaders, collaborative teachers, involved families, supportive environment and ambitious instruction.
According to superintendent Dr. Sharon Desmoulin-Kherat, the data informs the district on its perception and ways to improve educational approaches.
However, the district has struggled most to receive parental feedback over the years, and Kherat hopes more guardians participate this year.
Teachers and students will be able to complete the survey Nov. 15, 2018, to Jan. 18, 2019.
The parent survey is open now and will remain open through January 18, 2019 and can be found here.
