PEORIA, Ill (WMBD) – A person had to be cut out of a car after a rollover accident in Peoria.
It happened near the intersection of NE Jefferson St. and Cornhill St. just after 9:45 P.M. Tuesday.
Crews arrived to find a vehicle hit a parked car and then rolled over one or two times before coming to rest on the driver’s side.
The driver was found trapped inside. Firefighters stabilized the car and worked to get the person out. They had to use hydraulic cutters to cut the roof to get to them.
The unidentified person was taken to OSF St. Francis Medical Center. Their condition is not currently known.
