There are many ways to remember loved ones we’ve lost, but a local organization is letting you plants seeds of healing after experiencing tragedy.

The 6th annual Plant a Flower to Remember fundraiser helps families and friends by giving them a physical representation of their memory.

The Jon Buckley Memorial Garden is for survivors of those killed by auto-relate accidents, suicide, murder, drug related deaths and more.

Each flower planted is marked and organizers say it’s truly a moving event.

“Each one of those flowers that was planted so far, just acknowledges that somebody is missed today and that they love them still,” says Yolanda Wallace. “The heart shape of the memorial garden is a reflection of God’s love for all of us.”

All proceeds go towards the maintenance of the flower garden.
