PMEG makes 11 felony arrests, seizes nearly $5,500 at Summer Camp Music Festival 2019

CHILLICOTHE, Ill. — The PMEG (Peoria Multi-County Narcotics Enforcement Group) said it made 11 felony arrests and seized several amounts of drugs and approximately $5,500 at this year’s Summer Camp Music Festival.

The PMEG team was made up of agents from the Illinois State Police, Illinois SWAT Team, Morton Forensic Lab and more. The PMEG has had a presence at the festival over the last few years in an effort to curtail the distribution of illegal narcotics. 

Three of the 11 arrests were Class X felonies. 

The PMEG seized the following:

  • Cannabis: 90.00 Grams
  • Cannabis Edibles: 41.00 Grams
  • Cocaine: 8.13 Grams
  • Ecstasy: 11.71 Grams
  • Ketamine: 100.61 Grams
  • LSD: 14.11 Grams
  • LSD: 6.00 Hits
  • Psilocybin Mushrooms: 7191.10 Grams

The District 08 Patrol also conducted numerous details around Three Sisters Park:

Distracted Driving contacts: 50
Speeding contacts: 254
Safety Belt/Child Restraint contacts: 39
DUI arrests: 4
Drug arrests: 2
Warrant arrests: 8
Suspended/Revoked arrests: 15
Total Criminal arrests: 18
Total Warnings issued: 350
Total Citations issued: 327

One firearm was also seized.
