UPDATE: 3 injured in Charlton Street shooting

UPDATE: Peoria Police responded to a shooting that injured three near North Charlton Street and West John H. Gwynn Jr. Avenue at approximately 5:54 p.m. Thursday.

According to Peoria Police Sergeant Amy Dotson, Three men were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

According to Peoria Police Lt. Briggs, two of the victims were located at the scene, one was shot in the leg, and the other in the hand. A third victim arrived at a local hospital with gunshot wounds in their leg and stomach.

No suspect information is available at this time.

The case remains under investigation by Peoria Police.
