A total of $21,179.00 was raised to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Illinois as a result of their inaugural All-In Donation Day on Thursday, March 21.
A goal was set to raise $20,000 to support the chapter in doubling their impact with the opening of a second House and continuing to provide the essentials of home to hundreds of families each year with a seriously ill child receiving medical care, and thanks to the incredible support of the community that goal was exceeded.
Donations were matched throughout the day by several generous donors.
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Illinois provides the necessities of home for families with a seriously ill child receiving treatment. RMHCCI provides families with a private bed and bath, meals, laundry, parking and more.
Families stay at the House at no charge to them, regardless of their length of stay at the House.
The Springfield House currently serves over 400 families each year, and the Peoria House, slated to open in late 2019 is estimated to serve 700 families annually.
