Sandwich shop armed robbery investigation

Peoria police are investigating an armed robbery at a local Jimmy John’s.

It happened just before 10 Sunday night at the North Knoxville location.

According to police reports, two black suspects implied they had weapons and robbed the store.

Two employees working at the time, and a manager, were forced into the shop’s back freezer.

The suspects got away with $900.

The security cameras reportedly weren’t working.
