School Bus in Twin Cities involved in crash

A school bus with 46 students on board turned over in a multiple-vehicle crash.

It happened at Route 150 and Abraham Road in Bloomington, near Evans Jr. High. Multiple children were transported to local area hospitals with minor injuries sustained during the crash. The uninjured children were transported, in a different school bus, back to Evans Jr. High. According to Illinois State Police, school officials have notified parents about the crash.

The road is closed and traffic is being re-routed. 

All parents picking up children involved in the crash must go to Evans Jr. High.

The investigation on the crash is still ongoing. Police are asking drivers to avoid the area until further notice.
