Canton High and Ingersoll Middle Schools are quarantining electronic devices students use.
In 2015, the High School started a program that gets computers for al students to use as part of their education.
Last week, a student returned a device, saying an insect was found in it. After inspection, the insect was identified as Cimex lectularius, or common bed bugs. Another student made a similar report Wednesday.
As a result, the two schools are quarantining all devices for inspection in order to ensure all the devices are safe. The district expects the devices to be returned early next week.
